Make The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes a movie

I believe that this book series has the potential to be a box office success and the second movie should be made. However, I think what threw people off was how far off this movie was from the book. Yes, not all movies can fit everything from the books or should exactly be like the book (I.E. look at the first twilight movie and the second Lord of the Rings movie). However, it is when you stray too much from a piece of literary material that can cause trouble. Also, I think poor marketing and when they released the movie had something to do with it. Anyway, since this book has such a large fanbase (just as large as twilight), I think it deserves a second chance (just like twilight got..and new moon was way better).

I think to needs to be more like the book , the first movie was ok... BUT PLEASE MAKE CITY OF ASHES , JUST MORE OF HOW JT ACURES IN THE BOOK, but I'm positive that it will turn out great just as city of bones did. Please make them all movies

PLEASE MAKE THE NEXT MOVIE, i think what really threw us for a loop was the small details that they left out, like clary's fiery red hair that wasnt all that red, and her bright green eyes that hardly looked green.

I love the movie and the books and would be heartbroken if they didn't continue to make the series of movies. I love that cast & feel they should of marketed the movie better. I feel they didn't give the movie enough hype but I personally felt the movie was better than an twilight movie.

I'm a twilight fan right here. And all these years, I haven't really been inlove other than Edward Cullen until I met Jace Wayland. I think the production team should really go on with the next sequel. So what if they only had 37 M from the first movie? I'm sure they can do a lot better in the 2nd movie.

I really enjoyed the books and the first movie so I would like to a second and so on.

i am not overly concerned if it follows the book closely and am just more interested in the film sequel.

The Mortal Instruments books i have not read them until the movie, they were on my reading list but never got around getting them. After the movie i got all 5 books on audio and finished them in 6 days (little sleep but it was worth it). The movie was just amazing, the actors were just perfect for the characters they were playing. City of Ashes has to be made into a movie, because of all the fights scenes. I would love to see Jace scene when he meets with the demon and makes him believe that Claire is dead. The most important scene should be the one with Jace and Simon drinking blood from him and then realizing that's why he can stay in the sun light now.

The Mortal Instruments Series is an incredible written work of art. I had not heard of the phenomenon until seeing the film. As I watched the movie I fell instantly in love with the shadow world and its characters. A couple of weeks after seeing the movie I had purchased and was reading the masterpieces themselves. I was locked on for almost two weeks until finishing all five of the available installments . In free time for those two weeks I did not watch TV but instead dove into a fantasy world that has been one of my greatest escapes yet. I believe that after reading the book City of Bones that the stars chosen to portray the characters on screen were perfect, and that they made a very visually stunning film that took the story to a new level , but most of all did the book justice. Though there has been controversy over the changes made from book to movie , I think it added a new level of anticipation for City of Ashes. This is such a creative and beautiful world that it makes me sick to think that it might not be turned into a film. These books need to be told on screen and I want nothing more than to see my favorite characters come to life again. I would love to see the scene after the Seelie court with Jace and Clary talking in Jace's room on screen for I feel that this is an important part of his character development when he begins to tell Clary how he feels about her. Also I think that Jamie is a talented musician and should add in his talents to the mix for the City of Ashes music. The Mortal Instruments is an amazing series and the first movie was fantastic! Im dying to see the series continue as movies, please!

In my opinion, it would be a crime not to put City of Ashes, and the others in the series , on the big screen. Books written that well, with such amazing imagery and just the right touch of humor are so rare. They capture such a wide audience/following and pull you in and hold you there. The characters feel almost like family members. The first movie did a wonderful job of representing City of Bones, and the characters chosen for the parts couldn't have been more perfect. With the right marketing to, what is actually a much larger/vaster ,more diverse audience than just teens, I'm 51, the box office numbers would blow other similar series out of the water. I had never heard of the books or seen or heard about the movie , until my 13 year old daughter brought it to my attention. She began reading the books to me while I was working around the house, and I was hooked. I read them all and am anxiously awaiting the final installment. But even more anxiously awaiting the next movie, City of Ashes, I really don't think, Sony, Constantin or Cassandra Clare realize the possible magnitude of this movie series with the right promotions. My ideas are endless. Please Mortal Instrument fans _ Band together, let your voices be heard and let those in charge know that you will support this amazing addition to our movie culture. And please, keep us updated on its progress. We need something to look forward to at the box office. And Cassie and stars, how about a visit in the Southeast. We ,too, would love to see the real people behind the characters we love, Jace, Clary, Simon, Alec, Isabel , Magnus and others, in person. Can't believe this is even an issue! Everyone I know loved the first movie and can't wait for this one. Not to mention the books are awesome!
