I dont think it played or described some of the characters very well.Mangus and Alec for example,they barely played.I mean i love clary and jace but it needs to show the other characters as well

I could do with a new actor playing Jace Wayland (Jace is supposed to be the most gorgeous thing ever to walk earth, but JCB isn't even cute), and there were a lot of missteps, but I WANT A SEQUEL!! This movie is what got me reading the Mortal Instruments series to begin with!!

City of Bones had the perfect cast, great story, and was a great movie. Needed way better marketing.

I had never heard of the movie or books, then saw the movie. What a wonderful production with great casting. Make the Citty of Ashes now while you have the cast in place.

The movie had potential and I loved the books. Please make the sequels. Correct the problems and you will have an amazing series! I am all too eager to see them!

The Mortal Instruments series is such an amazing story. City of Ashes has to be made. I want to the PERFECT cast again!! I want to see my favorite series on the screen again.
