It may be a bit late but I think we are many people who would like a second movie even if it took 7 years of the first. I think that if we organize ourselves, we can reach more people through social networks to sign the petition (or someone can create a more serious one, arguing that many are not satisfied with the series and that we beg to continue with the adaptation taken to the cinema even if they change some actors (I love Jamie and Lily, hopefully they would continue on the project and Magnus has died so we would have to look for another one.) I'm aware there's a tv series, but it didn't beat the original cast of the CoB movie, and I'd love to see the end of the trilogy with the same cast as the first movie! They were literally perfect. Shows and movies get remakes all the time, can't we have a multiverse for this saga and consider the City of Ashes movie as part of another universe than the tv show? Please bring back Jamie and Lily as Jace and Clary, they were perfect and I cannot see anyone else play these characters!!

I know it’s too late... but I just saw City of Bones and fell inlove with the characters especially at Jace’s... Been watching it over and over... Why I didn’t know about this movie way back?!!

PLEASEEEE make City of Ashes into a movie!! Been a fan of these books since the first one came out and the cast in the movie fits the roles so much better than the show! The chemistry between Lily and Jamie is exactly how Clary and Jace should be! We NEED the 2nd movie to be made into a reality!!

I think both Movie and TV Show cast are amazing , spectacular and phenomenal! But I also want to see the sequel happen as well. It would really be awesome to see two universes of The Mortal Instruments be built on both big and small screens.

The Mortal Instruments is my favorite book series and the show Shadowhunters does not do it justice. The actors and plot and the way Shadowhunters has ignored many plot details from the book series is sad. The actors are terrible on Shadowhunters. I thought the cast for City of Bones was perfect and absolutely loved the chemistry between Clary and Jace. I am still waiting and hoping for a continuation of the movies.
