I never heard of the books before the movie, I actually saw the movie on DVD and fell in love. It prompted me to buy the books and read them all. I think alot of people who hadnt read the books became fans of the movie after it was already off the big screen. I really think it will do better in the second movie. It would be a crime to not use the wonderful same cast and continue with the series.

I love how all the characters have formed in the big screen and I was really looking forward to city of ashes, and the rest for that matter, for them not to be made into movies would be a devestation to all of the mortal intstruments fans

The books are so captivating and they really grab you and hold onto you! They can do the same thing with the movies too! They had spectacular effects, an amazing cast so they've got the essentials all they need to do is bring it to life!!

I have loved The Mortal Instruments series for ages and I've been wanting them to film City Of Ashes ever since I saw the first movie. I hope that they realise that the series in AMAZING and they deserve to be made into movies!! There are hundreds of thousands of fans including me that NEED them to make the other movies. So please, take this into consideration.
