I am a fan of "The Infernal Devices" and "The Mortal Instruments". Yes there were some technical differences between the book and the movie but it was bad enough to make me not see the second movie. I watched the movie first and loved it. Afterwards, I read the book, then watch the movie again and I still loved the movie. The average movie makes between 20-50 million. "The Mortal Instruments" exceeded that expectation and received great reviews, so making a second movie should not be denied because of bad budgeting. I also agree that non of the characters should be changed due to the complexity of story. For example if a character in a movie like Harry Potter were to be changed the audience would be completely lost, if they weren't already.

I love The Mortal Instruments and I want to encourage my friends to this series, because they don't want to read books and SHADOWHUNTERS wont move from our favourite book!!!

This film was amazing. The cast was perfect and the books are quite frankly in ranks with Twilight and The Hunger Games. It'd be stupid not to make them.
