I am an AP Psychology student affected by the exam postponement, and I would like to express concern about fairness across testing conditions. While some regions completed the exam as scheduled, others were required to take it later, creating unequal circumstances for students taking the same course.
Even with different test forms, the delay introduces potential disadvantages, including increased stress, extended preparation periods under uncertainty, and the possibility of indirect exposure to exam-related content. Standardized assessments should strive to provide as equal a testing environment as possible for all students, regardless of location.
I respectfully urge the College Board to consider measures that ensure fairness for affected students—such as transparent communication about scoring adjustments, safeguards against potential information leaks, or accommodations that recognize the impact of postponements.
All students deserve confidence that their scores reflect their knowledge and effort under equitable conditions.
