Make Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron GREAT AGAIN!

This is freaking stupid!!! Did the person who made this dumb petition even read http://dreamworks.wikia.com/wiki/Spirit_Riding_Free ???? This show is not about the original Spirit!!! It is about his son!!! That is why he has a white stripe on his face to represent Rain!!! As for it being based in modern times???? No. Based on everything in the show the show it takes place less than fifty years later but with enough time for Spirit's son to grow up and for the herd to lose Spirit, Spirit's mother, and Rain. The herd the Spirit from the telivision show belongs to is probably made up of the offspring of the horses from the movie! The only truely modern kind of thing is that they wear pants not dresses, but not every woman wore pants back then. It was the norm to for girls to wear dresses but there were still females who broke that mold. For real!! How did people get so....ridiculous?????? I am not signing this damn thing. It doesn't even make sense!!!! And the person linked the article explaining the premis of the new cartoon stating it is cring worthy??? Why??? Because it is not about the original characters?? Cool, I am 100% fine with next generation stories and anyone who does not realize that this IS A NEXT GEN Story cleary did not read the premis of the show.......I doubt the person making this did.

I have seen the TV series of Spirit Riding Free and it is not related to the great original Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron as unlike the film the series has very little meaning and no representation of the native american culture that the movie demonstrated very well. Either they may come big changes that does reflect the movie it is meant to be based on or they cancel it altogether and make sequels or prequels of the movie instead. Please keep the original flavour of the movie and don't replace it with weird new stories that are all factually different. Sprit Stallion of the Cimarron was a great movie and having this new TV series and say it is based on it not only makes it look bad but destroys all the good meanings that came with it as well. Please show your best tremendous talent DreamWorks like you always do, you surely can't be this stupid and ignorant.

I hate this change! I feel as though spirits original story should simply be continued and not altered at all! Including his appearance and the general animation!!

This crap is an atrocity. This isn't the Spirit I know. I'm very disappointed, and it disgusts me to know that's what they've done with Spirit. Hope you enjoy that extra little $$$KA-CHING$$$, Dreamworks, 'cause there's another price to pay: the fans' hate and response to this half-assed series. I hope that anyone that watches this poor-excuse-of-a-series knows of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and THEN makes the decision of what's more worth to spend time on.

They should be ashamed of what they did. I loved the original movie and still do. I'm extremely upset about the removal of Rain and Esperanza. I was hoping for a continuation of the movie, but I'd rather have no second movie than to have this animation ruin Spirit's reputation.

I used to watch Spirit everyday when I was very little. It was my favorite childhood movie. I am 18 now and it's still my favorite movie. I just saw the trailer and it's so cringy and looks like a stupid show. I guess Spirit's son is nothing like his father. And you are right; the clothes do look modern. They shouldn't have done that. This show NEEDS to be cancelled
