i cried when i saw this show but the movie gave me happy tears NEED MOVIE 2 NOT A STUPID SHOW WHERE EVERYONE COMPLAINS!

I was so upset when I saw this, like you have no clue- I wish they just came out with a second one. But sadly, the movie didn't make quite enough profit to start making another, or so I read. :( After turning 18 almost 19, and having watched it about a million times as a small child, I returned and re-watched it as an adult and I fell in love with it even more. I've a personal and emotional attachment to this legend of a movie ever since I had seen it.

I feel like should make like a movie 2, I personally love the movie, it’s awesome, it’s about friendship and bonding not riding horses and finding treasures.

This movie was my no.1 my WHOLE childhood and I remember the day I heard if this little cash grab series. The whole point of the movie was how Spirit was free, untamed and unbroken!

Stop the abomination

I've loved this movie my whole life. I've always loved horses and have been riding for 4 years. I saw the trailer for this. I knew it was trash. All REAL Spirit fans know this. (Note: I didn't even notice the white blaze, YOUR SO RIGHT!!!!) at first I thought the horse that looks like Esperanza WAS Esperanza and I though the other horse Rain I thought that was plain wrong! But I guess they're not... anyway Spirit is an amazing film! dreamworks needs stop trying to mess it up with this show. its just wrong.

This will never go anywhere, so whatever, a few tidbits. 1: The show follows the SON of Spirit and Rain. Spirit Junior basically. What's why he has the white blaze, because they're not the same character. 2: Because this series takes place further in the series Esperanza and Rain are probably still out and wild, if not dead. 3: See above points, and the setting is based further into the future, but not modern times. The main character, Lucky, goes through several instances of not wanting to wear the heavy, frilly dressed that young girls of the time are expected to wear. Her father is also in the rail industry. 4: In the series Spirit is a wild horse who's self tamed through building a relationship based of friendship and trust. He's free to come and go as he pleases and chooses to be with his human companion, because it's a little kid's show. Lucky's mother was born and raised in a small Mexican village, meaning most likely, that Lucky is in fact has some amount of Native heritage. Just because there's a boarder between the US and Mexico now, doesn't mean it was always like that. 5: It's a kid's spinoff show that actually has some nice story lines. Chill out. 6: Even if it was suddenly MLP (which it's not) there's no reason guys can't enjoy the show too. It's a cute little program, it's not going to hurt the original movie in any way. It's not a threat. Again, take a chill-pill. You're way beyond the targeted audience. This show wasn't meant for you and you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Not everything has to be catered to your exact tastes. If you want the original. watch the original.

This does nothing to help. The previous characters from the original movie are now different in a 3D setting possible gender changed and with Spirit's looks changed and his resolves already shattered by a little girl which just screams cringe worthy to me. He is a wild horse. It took him time, patience, and trust to allow Little Creek on his back near the ending after he was rescued by Little Creek. This is not what I agreed to. If would have been fine it was Spirit's child or grandchildren doing it. But this? Ultra downright unacceptable!

Actually, after realizing just how bad things have gotten with argument no. 6 with how the merch of Riding Free is all pink and purple, all catered to girls, I do feel like they very much destroyed the original film. Additionally, arguments 4, 3, and 6 are the ones that I agree with the most.
