This intersection is impossible to navigate and feel assured of safety! Every time I cross here I feel like I am running and taking a chanceE

Yes! It is nearly impossible to cross this intersection and there is no way to see even which direction has the right of when as a pedestrian.

Please!!! Set up a cross walk and safe to cross signal.

Long overdue

The walk up from the Sparkill bus stop to Overlook Apartments is incredibly dangerous, from that intersection up Highland. I feel I am taking my life in my hands walking home every day, especially now that it gets dark so early.

This intersection is extremely dangerous. I have almost been hit numerous times, no matter how hard I look for cars it’s impossible to see each direction.

I walk this path almost daily, and every time I cross this intersection I feel grateful to get to the other side without incident.

Pedestrian safety is a priority for our community.

I feel this intersection at Sparkill is a safety hazard to the community & should be addressed!!!

We would feel much safer, my family of five, having a crosswalk light there. Our children ride their bikes on this beautiful path. Thank you :-)

I use this trail every few days and feel like I am taking my chances trying to cross without the aid of a proper crosswalk and light

There is a school bus stop and the children are forced to navigate crossing this dangerous intersection.

I'm older and love to walk the rail trail. This intersection is dangerous.

Also- In regards to the Joseph B. Clarke Rail Trail in Orangeburg at the streets Mountainview Ave. and Bataan Rd and entrance/exit of ALUF - We desperately need a full stop for cars so that Pedestrians, bike riders, etc., using the trail can continue their time on the rail trail without the danger of being hit by cars or from the workers of ALUF entering and existing.

Safety is priority

This is such an unsafe spot on such a beautiful and beloved pathway.

It is not at all safe for kids especially, I have crossed it many times and have never felt safe, too many blind spots where traffic comes from.

This, as well as other crosswalks, are extremely dangerous. Please address this issue.
