There is a definite blind spot that is impossible to navigate from one street while they have the green light

This intersection is very dangerous. It is in the best interests of the town and county to ensure a safe crossing and further promote off road trails.

Please make this intersection safe for pedestrians, bikes and cars.

I live in Sparkill and walk through this intersection almost daily. It is not safe in any direction for pedestrians or cyclists. This needs to be addressed!

I am 72 years old and use the trails for exercise. It is very dangerous for me to cross this road.

This is, indeed, a dangerous intersection as well as one with an unusual configuration ~ more like an odd shaped X than anything else. This requires those traveling the trail to dissect the center of the X. I have lived at the corner of Orangeburg Road and Highland both from 1961-1976 and moved back in 2005 in my great grandparents house so I’m familiar with all the traffic patterns and problems. One thing that would help besides crosswalks and pedestrian lights is stopping all right turns on red from every corner because they’re all dangerous, and maybe even making a couple no left turns.

This is actually a 6-way intersection and should have traffic lights reflecting that fact. I was nearly hit by a car while crossing here once myself.

This is a very dangerous intersection and better to address now before someone get seriously hurt.

Please make the road into a rail trail. It will bring income to the area via visitors.

I walk my dog almost every day across this intersection. I also have trouble on many of the Sparkill streets that don’t have sidewalks. We need to walk on the road.

We always hesitate at this tricky intersection when we cross to hike on Erie path. It is so dangerous for pedestrians.

Need an all way stop and crossing light. So blind and dangerous!

I run on this trail beautiful trail a couple of days a week . Every time you cross this intersection you feel like you have a chance to get run over
