Make Southsea Ave/Lymington Avenue/Glendale Gdns safer

This is dangerous! Some action needs to be put in place before someone gets badly hurt.

i live along fairleigh drive and even my road has parents scrabbling for spaces, rowing with each other and my fathers car was driven into by a school mum rushing to park .... Something has to be done !

Children are at risk.

With lots of families walking to school, shops, clubs and events to support the local business and community it is important that people are safe. Something needs to be done here and in other roads around Leigh.

I have been hit twice by wing mirrors just walking along pavement. One time it hit my elbow so hard I think that if that were a child head, it would have caused serious injury. Drivers never stopped to see if I was ok. I live down Lymington and some days you can't pull out safely as vans parked on that corner block view.

Something needs to be done sooner rather than later it's too dangerous

I live in Lymington Avenue and pulling across Glendale Gardens with little or no view caused by the yellow lines not being extended enough coupled with cars parking to drop off pick up is 100% now a serious accident waiting to happen!

I live on southsea ave and agree something needs to be done as the junctions are dangerous for both motorists and pedestrians.

i urge the council to improve the streets of Leigh, having one way traffic up the busy roads towards the Broadway. Not only will it ease congestion but be safer for the hundreds of children in the area.

Crossing this road is very hazardous - I have to ask my children to wait on the pavement while I go on to the street to see if there is any traffic coming. Two incidents have already occurred and safety on this road needs addressing urgently.

Terrible, unsafe driving and Parking in the areas surrounding West Leigh School.

The visuals are so bad on this road someone is going to get very hurt soon.

Glendale is a death trap, I have to walk into the road with my buggy to see of traffic is coming .

The roads are dangerous with the amount of cars parked it blocks your view pulling into Glendale gardens and other roads in the surrounding areas with he school and the two schools on Glendale Gardens Outloud and Amanda Restell it is a very dangerous area to drive and walk for adults and children. I believe that the part of Ronald Hill Grove opposite Qest Leigh school ahould have parking restrictions so cars cannot park there all day to allow, parents to pull in safely and drop off pick up. I also think the restrictions on parking in the surrounding roads should be in place to allow safer travel . Speed bumps are a must !

Something needs to be done. Please do it before someone is badly hurt. Not after. This area is so dangerous around school drop time.
