Since about 2016 Schleich has gone downhill in making their models realistic. As an adult collector this really bothers me because I fell in love with Schleich due to it being small yet realistic, as do many other collectors. I made this petition in hopes Schleich will revert back to their old ways and quit making everything kidified (such as the pink truck and more more cartoonish horses). I know many kids love Schleich but I feel as though adult collectors spend more money on the models (due to us working) and should have a slight say so on the company (even though it’s “technically” directed to the kids). I would like Schleich to go back to their 2006 to about 2014 days when the models looked like they were taken out of the pasture.

I am collecting Schleich horses for maaaaany years now. It's a shame that they more often look like Barbie horses. They don't need flowers, bows and braids in their mane. They colors could be more realistic again too.
I loved schleich but haven’t bought any from 2020-2021 year,,,,,they’ve been so bad! I miss the 2011 models, not to poorlylazy painted and not to cartoonish.-like the knubstrupper stallion from 2011 is my absolute FAVE!
I use to really love schleich animals, and there are still some good ones rolling out but I feel a good majority of the newerr models are not very well made. Body posture is unrealistic and faces are not very good on many of the horse models as of recently.
Kids need realistic toys too. Not everything needs to be “cute” are cartoon...plus making things pink and girly is kind of the opposite of what is going on in society. Toy animals are the ultimate unisex toy, they aren’t boy or girl toys, they are for everyone! And for all ages! Adults like to collect, children like to play! So please bring back the realism!
I agree with this- I no longer buy new schleich due to the lack of realism, instead I buy their old models secondhand. I’d buy more realistic models!
I have loved Schleich ever since I was a kid, and I still collect them. I've definitely noticed a downhill in quality and also sizing? The black Labrador I bought recently is twice the size and half the quality of the yellow and chocolate labs I have from years ago.
Just went to a store ,and saw how poor the quality is , but the prices are still the same heh

I agree! Schleich horses must be brought back to the earlier 2000s, especially for me, who is a model horse photographer. The older models are so much more detailed and unique. The new models are honestly a bit ugly.
