theres two things I need prodigy to see within this comment. I bought a membership, got the magicoins, ands evolved to get tundrift. my membership got cancelled for no reason and I lost both the pet and I got scammed of money and magicoins. ALSO why hasnt pets like embershed gotten move effects? along with fathom they are among the most iconic pets when it comes to their typing. embershed has been my favorite pet since elementary. and when they gave me 7k magicoins during the festival that gave all that magicoins (Im f2p) I spent it on max merging embershed and getting the splatterbot and getting him to merge rank 4. worst decision I ever made for embershed. I wasted 3k magicoins THINKING theyd buff him, they didnt. hes still garbage but hes now somewhat useful thanks to the update they gave regalaxy. the game used to be fun and educational. not its a moneygrab with equations.

I remember getting those 7000 magicoins. I spent them maxing merging my embershed and getting the new batterbot variant to merge 4. worst decision of my life. embershed who was the best fire pet in the game is now useless. BUT, thanks to regalaxy hes not somewhat useful. I'm hoping they make fathjom and embershed useful again soon otherwise Im quiting. and ALSO, when I bought a membership I got the tundra cloud guy. I got the final evo and when my membership ran out, I lost the pet. over 270 magicians (at the time) lost. I couldve used that to rescue or get a op pet. but no. prodigy scammed me (technically my mom) of her money. I hope they fix their game and make it so its kid friendly and not for adults who dont have a life yet have tons of money to spend. this game use to be my childhood. now, it's just a memory and a figment of what it used to be. its sad to see what I used to play in elementary during free time go from memorys with my friend to a game thats like another game called war robots. please prodigy if you see this comment GIVE MY BOY EMBERSHED HIS MOVES EFFECTS PLEASEEEE (oh and give palmpom and vinequeen move effects too I just got those bc I remember them being very op) now I know that if I do quit it doesn't matter because its only one person, but I'm sure others feel that they arfe also getting scammed of their time and their days and weeks of life that they have on a game that hasn't seen the light of day since y'all removed the option for US free to play players to get magicoins from the treasure track.

this game was my entire childhood- call me a ipad kid but with Prodigy I was. It makes me sad to return to the game and be hit with the paywall. On one of my older accounts, I DID have a membership I paid for, and I beat the game. However, when I logged back on a few months later it was gone? I had gotten the membership in April and it was supposed to expire that month the next year, but it expired early.
I know this has already been closed, but still. It's such a pay-to-win game.

Prodigy was my favorite game in 2019, even though I never had a membership. It was actually fun then, and I was actually learning math, too. However, now that Prodigy has made so much of itself pay to play, it is very clear that their goal is no longer about getting kids to learn math through a fun game, but instead about making the most money as possible. I logged onto my account today for the first time in a while to see Moonlight Festival, and it was genuinely disappointing to see what the game has now become. Even though the festival itself is cool and I like the idea of getting to replay the original story, the constant ads, locked features, and inability for non-members to progress makes the bad outweigh the good, and it is basically impossible to have fun playing the game now. I miss the old days of Prodigy.

I loved playing this math game back when I was a first grader in elementary, but the way that I've seen it be treated now is making it look like less than what it was when The Lost Island was a thing back then. I just wish that things can go back to the way they were when this math game was actually trying to get people to play and not have to spend money on a membership to feel like this math game means something to them. As to what this math game has been doing with its desperate attempts to try to get people buying their monthly subscription to one of the THREE levels of membership has only been driving its players farther and farther away. So much so, that I haven't been able to meet a SINGULAR person who plays, or even cares about this math game anymore. It has gotten to the point where it is getting too much and that petitions are being signed just so this once-so-beloved math game can actually change its ways and bring more things to free to play players and for Prodigy not to devolve into some pay to play husk of its former self. The only reason why I still play now is just for the feeling of nostalgia! But even nostalgia has its own limits at times! So my message for the Prodigy Developer Team, or to anyone from Prodigy that deals with the feedback from your fans, or from what was. Please just make it so anyone can genuinely have a fun time playing prodigy without having to spend a penny.
