The NHS is too valuable to all citizens of the UK to be threatened by any organisation, political or commercial. It is impossible for a private company with shareholders and a desire to make profit to act in the best interests of those using the NHS. For profit companies will always seek to make a profit and this would be to the detriment of the patient.

Every pound profit is a pound lost, a pound that should have been spent on care.
