Speed and parking on these streets also needs to be addressed, particularly by Eastport Park with parking restricted to the north side of Parkside Drive rather than both sides of the street as it currently is

I had a city engineer explain that the primary reason for closing Northrop access was to prevent heavy commercial trucks from driving through the residential neighbourhood after the development was completed. Now it appears as if this isn’t really the case?

This is a must. More points of access and exit will enable fire, ems, police to respond to emergecies quicker. Also more points will keep traffic slow on each access and exit and keeping the kids and elderly safe

Would offer added safety, convenience and reduce risk of damage for both the construction trades and existing community

Vibrations from large construction equipment going up Broadway and Lakeside Drive in Port Weller East cause damage to foundations and even property frontage (ie; gardens and landscaping).

Nothrup or another access road needs to be available for local traffic after the construction is complete.

I would like to amend this petition to keep access PERMANENT for emergency services and to reduce congestion at Sea Haulage /Lakeshore intersection.

The neighbourhood hood was ruined as soon as the trees were removed. Northrop needs to stay open for safety reasons.

In addition to reasons already mentioned to not allow construction trucks access to Broadway, Parkside, Lakeside and Stepney, is that those roads will be covered in mud tracked from the building site onto the streets, with little enforcement to prevent it, and to clean it off the streets.

We have enough trouble with speeders and don't need all the construction traffic too

We have children that visit or live on Parkside Drive and it’s crazy seeing large trucks come flying by our driveway-we are at the end of the street and they have built up a substantial speed going by our house #13
We seriously need to keep open the Northrop entrance and exit for all of the heavy equipment that is trundled in n out on a steady basis for our safety and sanity
Thank you
