I support the 2nd Amendment and do not believe added restriction does anything to keep me safe, but makes it harder to secure myself and my family. As a resident of Pender County, I would love to see local government take a stand to protect my inalienable rights acknowledged in The Constitution.

It's our right to the Second Amendment. To protect ourselves no one should be allowed to take that from the American people It's not gum to kill people. It's the people who kill people.

What we need are more thorough background checks at gun shows etc. Check military records for PTSD, any psych admits to hospital, etc. Guns don't kill, people do.

My father fought for this freedom by being a prisoner-of-war in World War II. He never forgot it until the day he died!
