Please allow the outdoor dining extension to be a permanent part of our fabulous Dunedin. Not only does it allow for social distancing, but it offers an option for customers to dine and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery after many long hours of working from home which many of us are now doing! Thank you for keeping these outdoor seating arrangements open.

The outdoor areas at all the bars and restaurants have been amazing. It would be a huge loss for this to leave Dunedin. I’m sure the city can find a compromise with the businesses to make it worth for everyone.

The availability of outside dining has been a MAJOR factor in my ability to continue to support some of my favorite bars and restaurants in Dunedin over the last year. Please consider extending this. The impact on parking is minimal, and I think it helps to continue providing outdoor dining options to showcase beautiful downtown Dunedin!

This has been a lifesaver for restaurants! And yet vaccines are available to SOME of the public some people don’t still feel completely safe eating inside a restaurant. Just because you get the vaccine. Doesn’t mean you’re totally invincible to the virus.
