This just blows my mind that you have to start a petition because insurance has the right to decline or refuse contracting with one of the most amazing mental health PA! I've seen what you've done for my boys and the positive difference you made to help them improve, thrive, and succeed. My son will walk for graduation because of all the hard work you've done. Myself and my family are beyond grateful for the services, the time, the dedication, empathy, respect, and hard work you've given us. I pray that this helps you with your practice. Michele stand strong and proud you deserve this upmost respect and recognition for all the help you have and will continue to give to those in our community that need you! Michele is an amazing provider! It blows my mind that AHCCCS thinks there are enough mental health providers in our area when it is painfully obvious that our area is grossly underserved.

As a FNP in Az. I am shocked that Accchs can monopolize and demand people be seen by certain providers only. This should be brought to the governors, insurance commissioners and media’s attention immediately!

Mohave county needs to have more options for mental health. Michele has followed many patients and has been stability for many patients ts. To not allow stability in mental health patients ts is a crime in itself. Someone needs to wake up.

For fear of retaliation I will remain anonymous. Mohave mental Health is a nightmare. I worked there for several years as a nurse practitioner before relocating. I came to know Michele thru other colleagues etc. Mohave county needs more options in mental health than Mohave Mental Health and Southwest Behavioral center. Insurance should not be able to dictate where a person can be seen. Good luck Michele.

Michelle Norton is the best provider in Mohave County! My son followed her from MMH as she has been the only consistent provider he has seen in 5 years. Everytime he was settled with a new provider at either of the other two clinics seeing kids they would up and disappear and he'd be back to square one again. One clinic even had him seeing the prescriber via tv! His meds were all over the place at the other clinics and definitely not helping him at all. Then he got hooked up with Michelle when she worked at one of these clinics and the change in my child is phenomenal! It's a real shame that AHCCCS and Steward Health Choice can't see how great she is for these kids! All they see is dollar signs. I have been fighting with AHCCCS to get my child switched to Care 1st due to this issue and they keep refusing and then failing to send me their denial letter so I may start the appeal process. Just approve her already! She's great! Or when my son starts having issues due to being off his needed meds I'm gonna bring him to your houses!

To many of these people need help instead just getting the run around so the workers can collect a pay check and the problem is still there, they need real help!!!!

Finally the right doctor so many need .must get this passed out lives depend on it.

I have known Michele since we were CNA’s. I have watched her work often 2-3 jobs while bettering herself to the top of her field. Her dedication and passion for mental health inspires me. It is devastating that an insurance company would limit patients access to care on a very important decision. Good luck my friend. Keep your spirit!
