Make Kenyon College COVID Free
From having only 4 active cases in the beginning of the school year, the number of active cases has drastically increased to 38 in the mere span of a week. Currently, Kenyon College has not announced any plans of mass COVID-19 tests. Although the college imposes COVID-19 protocols, a large number of students still dine together in tight spaces without masks, or gather outdoors without masks nor social distancing. The college also has no plans to halt large mask-less social gatherings and parties in the college, making Kenyon, the place we call home, an ideal breeding ground of COVID-19. For the health and safety of all Faculty, Staff, and Students, we petition to test everyone at Kenyon for COVID-19 weekly, and have all faculty, staff, and students under quarantine until the results of the first round of tests come out.
