The nutritious but humble sprout would make for a great Nationwide Sprout Day, and for a way to celebrate self reliance, home agriculture for kids, respect for healthy eating, and small growing things, like kids themselves. This would be a terrific way of recognizing kids and sprouts at the same time.

Met your dad in Sedona at one of the raw food festivals. He was so vibrant! I don't have a garden, but I can do sprouts!
