The constitution gives us that right to own and carry firearms. My family goes back in Johnston county to 1796. My family owned and used their guns for hunting. I was raised around guns and was taught to respect guns. We knew better to touch daddy’s guns. My daddy served this country for 37 years and taught me and my brother about the constitution, our rights and being patriotic. Please join with us in upholding are second amendment rights.

I'm a Navy Veteran 1965-71 and I think the 2nd amendment is essential to maintain a free society!

I support this effort 100%. My only regret is that it does not go far enough. We need to pass an ordinance that makes enforcement of any new unconstitutional gun laws punishable by jail time.
