My son also recently underwent a bone marrow transplant for aplastic anemia. I support the documentation of the process in order to spread awareness of this awful disease. As someone who underwent the same procedure, Mr. Raimondi understands the importance of abiding by strict hygeine rules, and .i have no doubt that he will resoect those and all other hospital rules.

I also was diagnosed with aplastic anemia and had a bone marrow transplant. I was fortunate to have my brother as a match and a more than willing donor. if not for him I would not have had a match as the national and international registry had no matches for me. yesterday my fiancee was contacted as a possible match for a leukemia pt. we are very excited to be able to help save another life.

Ken's online journal gave me hope when my husband was going through the same journey. This is a great way to create more awareness.
