Make it a criminal offence to leave children under the age of 12 home on their own. As it stands today there are only guidelines on how old a child can be left unattended at home which makes things confusing as the guidelines conflict with each other. There should be an age limit and it should be a criminal offence to leave children unattended at home under the age of 12.
