He by far is the right person for the job.

He is doing a great job in one of the most challenging of circumstances.

We follow him because of who he is and not I’m his rank

You slim not find a beret man for the job than Howie Thompson. Why on earth would you fill such an important position, residual during these times, with someone who does not know the department or the community? Howie is respected by the community as well as the officers he leads.

Howie is the right person for the job. He has more than proved himself during community unrest risking his life for others and keeping us safe. He is respected by many, including myself. Howie is the type of Leader that goes beyond the call of duty. Howie leads with integrity. He is fair and balanced. Act now! Promote Howie to permanent Chief of Police. He is the right choice!

Would follow him into hell, knowing he'd have our backs.

There is seldom a leader who can get the whole team to rally around him; Howie is one of those leaders. The city council would be doing a disservice to their community should they hire anyone else for the job.

Seems bizarre to even need a petition to promote someone who will always be a leader. He has/and will give his all either way. Promote this man..
