I met Howie at the citizen’s police academy. If it was not for him, I would not have been pointed in the right direction for my internship placement with the department. Howie is a great leader and will continue bringing knowledge, dignity, diversity, and strength to GCPD.

Howie was a training officer when I worked for the GPD. He is professional, knowledgeable, and loves this city. You will not find a better chief.

Greenville City management should learn from the past two mistakes and promote from within. Not only does he have the respect of the Officers, but also from the community. The best man for the job is already in the job! Make it permanent!
