Divine, a drag queen, was the inspiration for ursula,....ginger another beautiful queen does a one woman show of divine and has a stamp of approval from John waters when she was on drag race. She deserves this

I want Ginger Minj as Ursula because she’s fierce and her size would perfectly compliment the role. Eureka also wants to be Ursula but this ain’t no competition sweetie. Queens like Ginger are the reason why I’m confident in myself along with Latrice royale so casting Ginger as Ursula would be a salute to the LGBTQ community.

I had no idea that Ursula was based off of Divine when I heard Ginger Minj being brought up as a choice so I did some twitter stalking and found a video of Ginger singing Poor Unfortunate Souls and it was absolutely what I want to hear from Ursula in a live action movie. Finding out after that Ursula was based off of a drag queen further cements my support of Ginger being in this role.

I believe that Ginger would fit the role perfectly - she can act and sing and it would be an amazing homage to the original inspiration of Ursula herself, Divine.
