Why have a 2 party system if you are going to mix the two on a ballot. They stand for 2 different ideals. It is time to pass this legislation to allow voters to know what party they are affiliated with.

This is serious. Each party should be protected against the other in the primary. We must have a closed primary to protect the boatvote and to be able to choose our own candidates in each party

Change our primary to a closed election. Neither party should be allowed to vote in the primary to affect the candidate chosen unless they vote the same way in the General Election.
