I believe the pedestrian gate ahould be utilized for saftey when exiting the neighborhood on foot as well as reducing wear on our electric vehicle gates that are costly to repair! I mean we are constantly talking about this doomsday cost that is looming to repair the big gates. Lets be smart!

This started as an inconvenience, but after yesterday I see it as a danger. How long before one of us gets hit by a car, or the gate itself because we have to walk or run through the automobile gates?

Please remove the locks off the pedestrian gates. When the outgoing vehicle gates stops working, at least we can go to the other side, punch in the access code and open the incoming vehicle gate to get out. There was one morning when the main outgoing vehicle gate had been bumped and stuck half-way open but not wide enough for anyone to drive out. I had to walk to other side to open the incoming gate with my access code to drive out.

According to the original builder, the gates were never designed to be security gates, just a deterrent. For true security, we must pay for armed guards (which I do not favor).

How asinine is this? Take the damn locks off.

Please remove the hideous locks. Residents like walking out and walking down Galm Rd. The belief that it would keep strangers out is totally ridiculous.

I do not believe the chains provide any safety to the neighborhood. Too many people have given out codes and remotes have been stolen out of cars with nothing being done about it!
