Currently, Florida is a closed primary state meaning that voters can only vote in the primary of whatever party they are affiliated with. Why is this a problem? Because independents, like me, are not affiliated with any party and their for can't vote in any primaries. The primaries set the stage for the general election and by taking our voice away until November you, essentially, disallow us from choosing who we really want to be the leader of our country. Please, sign this petition and show how you feel about this blind spot in justice. Hopefully, this also helps independents in the other closed primary states too.
