Although I am a former NDMU student, I am concerned for my friends at Notre Dame . I believe health should be prioritized, and that at a college campus it is difficult to limit interaction between students . A virus is still out there , and it’s best that the health of students be prioritized.

Please, I am scared for my life as are all of us. I urge NDMU to prioritize the safety of their students. Listen to us! We DO NOT feel safe having in person classes. We should not have to choose between health and our education!

As the SGA President, I can confirm that these are growing concerns within the student body. Our priority is to advocate for all students; due to the many uncertainties with Covid 19 and returning to campus, we strongly urge the NDMU administration to reconsider their decision to resume in-person courses this fall. Students safety should be the top priority. And for those who need on campus accommodations, they should receive them on a case by case basis. Thank you!
