We ask that the Mansfield Board of Selectman (BOS) defer their impending discussion and vote on adding any parking spaces to the former Fales Oil site until such time as the town completes work on Old Colony Way and the bike path. Furthermore, we want to communicate to the BOS our belief and desire that the Fales Oil site should be used primarily as a gateway to Mansfield via the bike path and as the cornerstone of a business-friendly, pedestrian-friendly and bike-friendly greenway stretching through downtown Mansfield.
