Dick Van Dyke is the absolute best. Growing up watching him was the highlight of my week. Give the man his Oscar already he earned it a thousand times over.
He's a national treasure, Hollywood royalty, and he has more talent in his pinky than the majority of modern actors demonstrate in a full feature film.
He so deserves this award, I have beeen a fan since I was a young gir,l will never forget the first time I saw him perform. He is a huge part of my childhood happy memories. Will be 100 years old and still doing what he loves and making new fans and younger generations as happy and excited by his performance as my generation was. Please honor this legend with the Lifetime Achievement Oscar while he is still with us.
He is loved by so many. He has helped me laugh throughout my life and I am grateful for him beyond words. He deserves any and all honors as he is truly a multi talented man.
Mr. Van Dyke deserves to be recognized for his lifetime contributions to the film industry.

Dick Van Dyke, in my opinion, should have won an Oscar long ago for many of his roles. The man acts, sings, dances, is a great comic, He has a mighty huge range with respect to his talents. TV star, Movie Star, Star in plays, award winning singer, and his nature is a pure joy! The Academy is long overdue in celebrating Dick Van Dyke’s craft!
