Make Delta & Observatory Safer

I live near this intersection and walk on the sidewalk here often. I have seen multiple wrecks here. It's an intersection with frequent bikers, walkers, and particularly pedestrians with kids and strollers. Increased road safety is highly needed.

We live near this intersection and see multiple accidents with injuries. One day, a pedestrian or driver will be killed here

Please do something before someone dies. We live near here and accidents occur too frequently

My nephew was involved in a serious accident at this intersection and his Jeep Wrangler was totaled. Someone is going to get seriously injured or die. It seems as though the Delta traffic is usually the one that hits the Observatory driver - if unfamiliar the light looks like it’s at Erie, not differentiated enough until you’ve run through it. Scary intersection to walk through as well.

I was in one of the recent accidents and learned from the neighboring families how dangerous the intersection is. Alerting signage, longer traffic light sensors, or anything to make these families feel more safe and warn drivers of the dangerous intersection patterns would help reduce citizens continuously getting hurt…

I have no idea why Cinci does not do traffic studies? It is clear there needs to be an arrow, a bumped out curd, something. Then come over to Paxton/Erie

Please put in speed bumps at the intersection, it’s incredibly dangerous and destructive for the homeowners who live there.

My husband’s SUV was totaled 9/21 at this intersection by a car who ran a red light driving on Delta towards Erie. Change is needed at this intersection!

I have been a passenger involved in an accident in this intersection and my son has a near miss. Both caused by cars running red lights on Delta

Make the light have a no turn on RED. Add green arrows for turning. Make sure that you can only see the light you are at. The light at Griest needs to be changed so that you cannot see it until you are so many yards from it.

This is a big concern in our neighborhood.

I tried to park on the street and attend a friend gathering at a home on Observatory. The amount of people driving by on Delta and Observatory going excessive speeds, I assume 45 mph or more, without any regard to crosswalks, pedestrians, oncoming traffic, cars parked on the streets, etc. is frightening. Please install speed cameras & speed humps. 35 is even too high of a limit for this area.

Fix this issue! I have kids here!!

I fully support this - We need this intersection to be safer!

I live and walk near the corner of Observatory and Delta. People fly up Delta. Way too fast. Someone is gonna get clipped.

Not sure what it’s gonna take speed humps or? As long as I’ve lived here this seems to be an increasing site of car crashes And given the high density of walkers with baby strollers, etc., I think it’s worth an evaluation
