As a former resident of the area and regular visitor to the great bars & restaurants tucked away there, officially designating a Chinatown makes sense. It also shows the cities' support for our growing Chinese population & helps give Dublin a proper city vibe like others in our size.

Great idea. Make it happen. And yes it can be done whilst preserving and complementing the historical sites in the area

Excellent idea to boost awareness of the area and increase the flow of tourism traffic beyond OConnell St

The North inner city desperately needs some rejuvenation and I see far more positives than negatives here.

Dublin North is infamous for being dangerous at night and people know not to walk there late at night. But those who live there know that it is full of charm and life. The Chinatown entrance would develop the area, give it its own character and attract minor only locals but tourists as well

This would do wonders for the area, the local economy & promoting Ireland as a welcoming & non-xenophobic destination.
