Being retired and mortgage paid I have noticed paying the rent to Chesapeake for my house to occupy, has gone up more than what is reasonable. You can't say inflation to this problem since my mortgage is paid. So as it comes to services the all classes of people use the services, WHY CAN'T WE ALL BE BILLED THE SAME.

It's gotten ridiculous. Cedar rd. Is out of control and it is dangerous trying to get out of all these neighborhoods with one way in/out. Property values are out of control and the building on every square inch available is dangerous and does not have the residents best interests in mind.

With everything including basic minimums it is absurd to raise our taxes 25% …I understand 1-2% but not the absurd amount that you have over charged for tax assessment

Put the power back into the hands of the people and help prevent overspending. We need balance. We are taxing people out of their homes to a point where it appears the city of Chesapeake is competing with FITW on monthly cuts. The current rise in taxes to build is not sustainable. Thank you for leading the charge and creating a better way forward.
