Whoever made this was just speaking straight up facts, I do remember always being so excited for school when I was younger I just didn't like waking up early and now I hate the thought of school. The only thing I enjoy is my sports after school where I mostly have fun. I'm not even a mom I'm just and older sibling but it scares me so much that one day there is a chance that when I come back home one of my siblings won't be there because they got shot at SCHOOL. That's just crazy. And as for the homework, it is just way to much, I for an example get about 4 hours of sleep a night and I have gotten on 1 hour many times and then I'm expected to stay alert the next day. This is the same for my of my classmates. Adults talk about how the miss their high school days but i know for sure that i am not going to miss this place. Everyday i tell my self i only have to go through two more years of this and then I'm free. The fact that these issues have been known for a long time now and still nothing changes is just unbelievable.

Im the end of the day teachers and students are just people, so don’t go giving us loads of work, and give us little time to ourselves to even work on it.

Burges parent here. I agree that our student and teacher endure enough. There’s not time now for all students to eat lunch, shortening the lunch period ensures that more kids go hungry during the day. We’ve got to do better than that.
