as if school isn’t draining enough as it is, not to mention all schools other than Austin have therapist in the school to help students who have bad mental health or bad homes, and the dresscode is so unnecessary, some of it is understandable say like really short shorts that I can understand but our shoulders? It’s stupid and unreasonable, you don’t ever see a guy who sees bare shoulders and start drooling for seeing bare skin, another issue is the STARR tests like he’s they help them learn where you’re at but they also put on an enormous amount of stress with having to do 66 questions on a single test with only 4 hours to complete it

Yes, I’m barely a freshman but I am already thinking about next year, when the new ones come in. They are expecting a longer lunch and a slice at life that everyone talks about, now school is shortening our time and really pulling at the mental threads we hope to still call a brain.

If the school changes the schedule to extend the day, it could cut into rehearsal hours for fine arts programs, after school practices for sports. It can also cut into family time, the teachers’ time to get home and be with their families as well as grade assignments. We have lives outside of school, advisory is not a required class and not all teachers even allow students to work on other work in advisory.
