With the restrictions on Opioid drugs eg codiene for pain relief I believe the government is negligent in keeping this treatment from the hundreds of thousands of people who are really in serious pain, if CBD con provide pain relief without the side effects of cannibus and is not habit forming but enables people to lead normal productive lives. It shows they (The Government) don’t care about the people whom they are supposed to Serve.

It sounds like it has way less side effects and works better for many chronic conditions that medicine can't treat. Should be legal, so doctors can prescribe it, standardised and tested. Then the government can make their cut in GST etc. instead of black market profiting. The stigma needs to go. This is not a substance for getting high!

I suffer Chronic pain and am on heavy duty pain medication. I am led to believe that CBD oil will help but cant get it due to bureaucratic clap trap.
