Buffy needs to be treated with care and respect and remastered in HD properly by a fully competent team that understands exactly what they are doing. The problem is that Fox chose to save money by taking the cheaper route and had the show remastered by people who did an extremely poor job, this mistake must be corrected.
Check out the youtube video "What's Wrong With Buffy's HD" to see exactly how Fox botched the process and learn what NOT to do when remastering a series in HD. You'll notice very quickly why the current HD remaster cannot be released on Blu Ray in this form. Check the comments below and you'll see how unhappy fans are about this.
Fox, listen to us, we love Buffy and we absolutely will not stop until this amazing show is remastered in HD the right way. Ask people who actually made the show to do a 4:3 remaster of Buffy correctly.

I back this petition fully... 4:3 is best but it would be nice if Jake had used his own words instead of lifting it ALL from Buffy superfan Julie's comment on YouTube.

Give us Buffy and Angel on Blu-ray. With the same live and care they put in Star Trek: TNG Blu-rays. We're desperate, because we know how how good these shows can look with a proper HD remaster!
