If they do this very carefully without messing it up as they have on the streaming services it'll be great. They don't need to change the aspect ratio i'm happy with 4:3. All they need to do is clean up the grain a bit. It can't be that difficult.

The current "HD" remaster of this classic series is shameful and an embarrassment to the industry. It is not the artists' original vision. Other franchises have received a good treatment. Buffy deserves a quality remaster.

It's unacceptable that Buffy hasn't been remastered yet, shows that are older, like Friends, and others, have been released on Blu Ray. What the hell are they waiting for?!

A HD remaster for Blu Ray must be overseen by Joss Wedon himself. It's his vision. The show is in it's 20th year and this is the best way to celebrate in style. For fans and newcomers alike.

I consider it can switch from wide-screen to full screen to avoid canon issues. The problem with the remaster is how it was re-framed and the lighting problems.
BtVS fans would happily pay for a good remaster of the series. BtVS was shot on film; therefore, the only concern is special effects. But special effects are much less expensive than they were when BtVS aired.
