Damn, I was about to throw away my Buffy DVD's because I was assuming they would do a perfect HD remaster -----boy I was wrong! I kept my DVD's and will continue too use them until the HD crisis is fixed.

Poor Buffy TV technology and remaster technology are changing everyday, but old shows are still getting the Blu-ray treatment and shows that came after Buffy. Buffy gets no respect love and attention that it desperately needs. I'll just stick to my DVD's for now.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer has aged well over the past 22 years and the series does deserve a Blu-ray release. Disney needs to step up their game and rescue Buffy from the hellish and current HD and remaster Buffy correctly for all the mess and hell that Fox put Buffy through.

Buffy is such an influential show and has had a huge effect on pop culture as a whole. It has aged incredibly well, the only thing about it that could be improved are its special effects - and it deserves an HD remaster that actually does this.

Come on people lets get your act together! The Charmed fans already beaten us with a Blu-ray release, come on we want Buffy on Blu-ray remastered in the best HD there is..........is that too much too ask????

Make Buffy available in a limited edition Blu-ray box set numbered and with a certificate of authenticity. I'd bet it would be sold out within a week!!!

I hope they don't remaster Buffy's audio in 2.0, it better be in 5.1 audio. I heard that a lot of Charmed fans were disappointing and complaining about the Blu-ray being in 2.0 audio rather than 5.1 audio.

While I am not a die-hard fan, what I've seen of this "HD remaster" is disgusting, and can only be loosely called a remaster. Considering that Buffy is truly a TV classic and, a major piece of pop culture history, it deserves a respectfully done HD version, not a lazy cop-out.

This is a show that helped birth modern television. Giving it a professional remaster would pay for itself over time given the show's continuing popularity, even before you factor in the interest the remake could generate, but, more than that, it is a matter of preserving pop culture history.
