Make Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Blu-Ray

Guys, I have Charmed season 1 on Blu-ray and I love the new remaster and I compared it to they old season 1 DVD boxed set and wow what a difference in the picture/sound ect. Now if only someone would take notes and do the same with Buffy, Buffy would look stunning in beautiful 4:3 HD.

Well, I'd love it if they would do it the same way like Star Trek The Next Generation but in 4:3 HD.

Someone please help us get Buffy on Blu-ray!!!

A 4:3 ratio can work on Blu-ray, not everything has to be in 16:9 widescreen.

Just as long as it's a good HD transfer of the original version.

The point is that fans complained way too much that's why we never got Buffy on Blu-ray!!!

As far as I am concerned, Fox did a half-assed job on their remastering of Buffy. That's why fans complained and why we never got a Blu-ray release.

Please remaster this show. Today is all about Blu-ray's and 4k Blu-ray's. DVD's are going out of style. Buffy needs too have a proper HD.

Can't we just leave the old Standard Definition behind.

I just can't believe Fox didn't make a big deal of such a 20th anniversary of not fixing Buffy's HD problems for a 20th anniversary Blu-ray release. I treasure my Buffy DVD's and I always will - they were the "best Buy" deals of my life!!!

I am pissed that they have not remastered this beautiful show in it's original version on Blu-ray.

This is such BS man, Buffy should have been released onto Blu-ray in the best possible HD of the original version and it look Buffy is doomed forever to be in Standard Definition!!!

Fox destroys everything they touch and they had to leave there mark on everyone's favorite show Buffy!!!!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of the most iconic, groundbreaking TV shows to grace the small screen. A truly wonderful, empowering show that tackles all manner of topics, great and small, deserves this HD remaster, but only if it is done properly! It is a show that I can personally say changed, and saved, my life. I grew up on this show, learned from this show. I want my children to grow up on this show. I've been wanting a blu-ray version of Buffy for years now, and I think that it is time that we give it what it really deserves; love, care and attention, and a new platform to wow audiences new and old.

I read an article online once somewhere, but now I can't find it about Buffy being released on Blu-ray. I don't know if many fans knew this or not. But Fox Studios had plans to remaster Buffy on Blu-ray at some point, but Fox cancelled those plans because fans had complained and were outraged by the new HD remaster. So I thought I'd let the fans know about this. The article is not online anymore, I guess it got deleted.

Too bad that Shout! Factory can't pick up the series and do a well done remaster. Shout! Factory puts the time and effort into there merchandise. Shame so much greatness can come out of this.

BtVS was the lynch pin for major moments in my teenage years. By joining online forums and making friends, the show was the cause for many aspects that make me who I am today. Judging from the atrocious work done on the Fox Studios remastering, I won't be buying a high-def version of the show to mark an important cultural artifact in my life. Doing so would be disrespectful to my original memory of the show's quality.

I was shocked to see how terrible they have mishandled Buffy with the HD version. I am so glad that I own the DVD box sets of the original version. Shame on the studio for mistreating Buffy.

Come on!!! Fans are tired of waiting, waiting, waiting and being frustrated, and stressed out at the same time, please do a well done remaster of the original version for Blu-ray!!!
