Firearm ownership is our right. It guarantees that We the People have a means to defend ourselves against a tyrannical government and anyone else that assaults us. We also use firearms for sports....hunting and target shooting are very popular. Firearm ownership is a American way of life.

The 2nd Amendment is not a right given by the Constitution to the citizens. The 2nd Amendment is a specific constraint on the Government! It is to protect the citizens from the Government's overreach! "...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Guns are not the problem. People with mental issues caring the guns are the problem. I don’t think some people understand that if a mean person wants a gun they can buy it illegally. The gun owners that are responsible and do things legal should not be punished for an unstable persons actions
