I'm a Political science major and most of my classes are in Briggs. Most of the time in the early months it is so hot that proffessors want to stop class early. Stop the madness.

Seriously. This would've made accruing massive debt a lot more worth it.

Uncomfortable environments are not conducive to higher education; students should not have to combat the internal climate while trying to learn. Doing so distracts students and educators from their primary purpose.

The university spends money on aesthetic things that do little for the students themselves. It’s about time the students come first. It’s stuffy and often unbearable, making it difficult for students, especially those with asthma such as me, to breathe.

History alumnus '15, most of my classes were in Briggs, sometimes on the third floor. The heat was oftentimes unbearable, especially in the Spring. AC would do wonders for the learning environment.

It is nearly impossible to pay attention when it's so hot, especially when a class is over two hours on the third floor. We need AC.

Our professors should not have to go through the hassle of finding classrooms in other buildings and even cancel their classes due to this inconvenience. These 85-89 degree classrooms are no places for learning.

The university doesn't need to buy a sauna because we have Briggs.
