I'm tired of finding the majority of movies and shows I find very good to tank because of ratings. I'll never understand how things like "Sharknado" can continue while well done movies like Beautiful Creatures can't get ratings high enough to warrant a sequel. It doesn't say much for the culture and intelligence of people in society these days. Not only was Beautiful Creatures good, but it wasn't twisted beyond recognition from the book as so often happens. The series was meant to be seen as read, in it's entirety. That's why those who only saw the movie think it ended in a way to suggest a sequel, the story only just started.

Make beautiful darkness! Beautiful creatures left you hungry for more. For people who crave more than what the ordinary mortal life has to offer, give us more fantasy and imagination to live through.
