This was a poignant film with interesting subtexts: be yourself, read books, know about history. I wish the series will be continued, and become more popular

Why is it that people look down on you as a adult for liking young adult films. I loved the movie and my husband is a huge fan of the books but at 31 people look at us as we are crazy. Like my husband tells them if writers wrote better adult books and made for better movies then we woulf see them but until we will continue to watch and read books like this. I will be highly upset if a seconf movie is not made. Even to the point of banning thid movir company from my house. Thanks fpr the effort.

If the story gets to unfold on film, the fans and money will follow. The story is very exciting and a lot more interesting after book 1! The actors should remain the same!

A movie shouldn't be about the money it makes in one weekend. Movies mean a lot more than that. The books have a large fanbase, and that fanbase (which I include myself in) are hoping for a second movie. Movies are about bringing words from the page to the screen, bringing life to the story in new ways. The film industry has become so focused on money and profits that it has lost the reason why movies were created in the first place: because everyone loves watching magic unfold before their eyes on the screen. I know the money is important, but please don't let the results of the first movie stop a second. Fans love the books and really want a second movie. Why should money become between the fans and the magic that is a movie? Movies are much too important to let money get in the way.
