I loved the first movie, the books are amazing. They should create a second and go for Beautiful Darkness. I think the movie did not workout in the box office due to the other movies that went to theater at that time. Timing is everything. But, I have watched the first over and over. And was heartbroken to find a sequel wasn't planned to come out soon after the first. I hope you catch sight of the petition, I just found it. And I hope others do also.

Seems a bit of a shame not making the second film, considering the first film ended on a really really good cliffhanger. I want every book in this trilogy to be on film!

The first time I watched beautiful creatures I didn't like it. It left out a huge character and flipped some details of the story line, which is why I think it wasn't a success. However, after watching it multiple times the movie has kind of grown on me. I want there to be a sequel and for them to continue on making movies for all of the books.

I just finished watching Beautiful Creatures for the 20th time and I love the movie and would love to see a sequel even if it went in a whole other direction. I have never read the books, but I do plan too.
