To our political leaders in charge of the Baltimore Police department please make it mandatory to have every Patrol Officer have a partner in Baltimore City. Keep our Police Officers safe.

Even if you don't think having 2 police patrol could save lives, it's cheaper than having to pay out lawsuits because the single officer has no one there to back up his/her story. And what would you tell the spouses and children of police who died waiting for backup? That their loved ones' died so that Baltimore could save money?

Yes definately for their safety, people are out of control. Officers need to know someone has their back.

Currently our local LEOs have become targets of opportunity especially when working alone. One officer can easily be out maneuvered and out gunned if he or she is alone. Having another officer present gives both officers a better chance of surviving a use of force situation including but not limiting a ambush style attack. Please consider the recent loss of life before you deny the content and purpose of this petition.
