Our officers deserve to be protected by their dept. Please don't let budget cuts and staff shortages be an excuse to not double up our officers during these trying and dangerous times.

Dear command staff,
As we have all seen the recent chain of events has made the job that we do day in and day out more and more dangerous. It's my worst nightmare to go to one of my brother or sisters funeral where their life could have been saved by having a partner there with them. Make this change for our safety, make this change so our families can feel a little bit better about us going to work to serve the people of Baltimore.

I feel it should be common sense for all officers to have a partner. Their job is to keep us safe, but who's job is it to make sure their lives are kept safe too?
