April 26, 2013 marks the tenth anniversary of Max Barnhart's 30th birthday extravaganza. On that fine occasion, a group of friends was charged with collecting signatures to wish her a happy birthday. (Her niece was most successful.) In honor of that day, and to honor this extraordinary individual, we ask that from this day forward, April 26 be known throughout the country as "Max Barnhart Day." To celebrate, people around the nation will meditate, practice yoga, write excellent legal scholarship, and eat gluten-free baked goods.
